I received my check yesterday! So, okay, it’s not gonna pay my rent, but it doesn’t matter, because it’s the very first time I’m getting payed for my art. And I’m just so, so proud.

Thanks to hitRECord I stepped out of my confort zone in many, many ways. Here are some drawings/photo manipulations I’d never have done without the whole collaboration/remixe spirit of the site. I made more progress during the two past years on hitRECord than during the previous six years on my own.

So thank you. Not only for this small victory (because this check kind of is for someone who always has been told that art was some sort of joke) but for many more satisfactions and victories to come.

Finished my Person of Interest portrait set… obviously had to paint Finch to go along with Reese! I tried to go with a more somber color scheme for him as I think it reflects the mysterious figure that he is. Prints available at my Society6.
